When a Tibetan gets married, there are usually several ceremonies such as proposing a marriage alliance, engagement, changing of the hairstyle, escorting the bride to the groom’s home and wedding ceremony. When a young man falls in love with a girl, he will ask the go-between to take a bottle of wine, tea and a hada to her. If she agrees, they will drink the wine together. Then the man will choose a lucky day to take two bottles of wine, tea and hada to her and discuss something about their marriage.
